Project Goals

Goal 1. Gather base-line information about the successes and set-backs that the TBI population has with community navigation. Work with TBI groups throughout the state to hear their own stories.

Goal 2. Follow a TBI group for several months, doing in depth interviews and field observations.

Goal 3. Build a set of prototype assistive devices and run trials on realistic community-navigation problems. Start with walking routes only, and then extend to a combination of walking and public transportation.
